Inconsistencies on machine transitions between views

Description
UI currently keeps local state for several machine transitions that are not provided from the api
e.g.
While shutting down a machine the ui displays the "Shutting Down..." status until it receives the STOPPED status from the api.
The behavior doesn't seem to consist between views.
To reproduce:
- Switch to a machine view
- Shutdown a machine (in current view you see the Shutting Down.. state)
- Switch to another view
- The machine state is Running instead of Shutting Down...

View transitions have been improved greatly by #1443, closing ticket.
