In bdrv_open() there is no need to shift total_size >> 9 just tomultiply it by 512 again just a few lines later, since this is theonly place the variable is used.

qemu-io: Fix error messages
The truncate and getlength commands passed a negative error number to strerror.They also happen to be the two functions that are lacking a newline at the endof their error message.
