In the very least, a change like this requires discussion on the list.
The naming convention is goofy and it causes a massive merge problem. Somethinglike this must be presented on the list first so people can provide input...

Unregister savevm callback in eeprom93xx_free()
Otherwise if you hot remove an eepro100 NIC and then migrate,you get:
Unknown savevm section or instance 'eeprom' 0
on the destination side.
